The nonprofit My Piece of the Puzzle (עמותת "החלק שלי בפאזל", registered NGO) was established in 2014 with the goal of creating meaningful encounters between youth with special needs and at-risk youth, serving as a transitional stage toward their optimal integration into society. The organization has developed a unique operating model that brings together teens from both groups in a way that fosters mutual empowerment, community contribution, and social integration. Today, the organization operates within local municipalities and in the education system through an annual program, runs summer camps, advises the Israel Defense Forces on integrating individuals with special needs, and founded the “Beyachad” preparatory program, which prepares at-risk youth and youth with special needs for military or civilian service.
